Walter, Portland, OR Over the years the contest has attracted fiddlers from Massachusetts, California, Idaho, Washington, Montana, Nevada, and Arizona. Past Willamette Valley Fiddle Contest winners include: Rudy Booher, Danita Hartz and Alex Hargreaves (National Fiddle Champions) and Tatiana Hargeaves (2009 Clifftop Fiddle Champion) as well as many other National and Regional Division Champions: (Dan and Andy Emert, Megan Lynch, Joe and Jacie Sites, Natalie Padilla, Michael Barnett, Jeanine Orme, Eileen Witler, Jason and Aaron Fewkes, etc.) Sponsors include: Calapooia Brewery, Consumers Power Inc., Denison Farms, Jon Franke - Violin Maker, Gathering Together Farms, Gracewinds Music, Grass Roots Books and Music, Lyrical Learning, Marysville Oast, MLC, Inc, Nancy Rohn Violin Shop, Oregon Oldtime Fiddlers, Rain Drop Farms, Squirrel's Tavern Become a Sponsor!
